Billy Bob is a very fun trail just outside Reno. While the trail is fairly short it offers plenty of challenges and different line to test you driving skills. The trail follows a rock strewn canyon up to a ridge overlooking the Northern Reno area.

Trailhead - Be careful accessing the trail, you will need to exit across traffic if heading North out of Reno. The trailhead is located behind a guard rail for the road and down a slight hill. Exit to the south end of the guard rail.

Rock Garden - The bigger rock begin about half way through the trail. The rest of the trail is much more challenging and fun. Starting with smaller rocks the trail winds through the canyon.

Larger Rock Garden - This section of the trail is the most difficult without a doubt. There are a few obstacles that may require a spotter and body damage is possible. There are a few different lines to take at each obstacle but there is no getting around it.

End of Trail - Take a slight left turn up the long and steep hill. The end of the trail is at the top. Keep your momentum and drive straight up. The trail is clear at the top.

This is a great spot to enjoy the view while you get a bit to eat. To head back take a left on the access road and watch you speed, some sections of the decent are pretty steep.
